St. Maarten

Rasta Matt :D
Leaving the lights of St. Thomas
Woke up in St. Maarten... did a little shopping - but spent the day on the beach.
AAaahhh... what a view!  LOVE the beautiful water!!!
my hunk a hunk a burnin love :D   hubba hubba!  hubby! ;P

Here are a few pictures from St. Thomas.  What an amazing  view we got from the sky tram - to Paradise Point.  After we were done there we went to a bunch of the jewelry stores in Charlotte Amalie... Matt found a fabulous $261,000 ring to put on his wish list - HA ... so crazy!  Then we went snorkeling and saw sting rays, lots of sea turtles, and a lot of fish that are very used to people - and treats!  They were not shy at all!
This is the view we woke up to in docking in Nassau on Monday morning.
The view from the other side of the boat... Atlantis - where we played with dolphins and waterslides -- very fun - but too short of an excursion!  We'll have to go back! :D
Again, an amazing morning view - it cleared up and was beautiful all day.
One of the amazing views as we zipped through Atlantis... like I said... we did not have as much time as we would have liked - so outstanding!
We took a quick trip down the lazy river - a few zips down the almost vertical waterslides... and then got pushed out of the water and "driven" around the pool by a  dolphin - propelled ourselves with a little motor to swim with them, and just played with the dolphins.

Some of the great views in Miami...
The white lady was real... and startled me as  we were walking past!  Gotta love the culture - all around you!  Matt took a walk on the "wild side" and got an airbrush tatoo... maybe not a good idea - he liked it a lot.

As you can see, Matt's new life style is really paying off... for both of us :D   Great part is - he does not need the apron... or the hat! he he

Miami beach

Here is a picture on our last night in south beach before getting on our cruise.
The kids have had a good summer so far.  They enjoy spending time with each other at least for the most part.  They tend to irritate each other once in a while.  Bobby sure loves hanging out with his older sister.  He will pretty much do whatever she asks him to do.  Scary thought later on!!

Bobby is definitely the ham of the family.  He loves to get attention.  He also thinks he is pretty funny.  We went to see Wall-e as a family the other day.  We were not going to take Bobby since he doesn't sit for that well for that long, but he would get so excited whenever the previews would come on tv.  So, we all went and it went pretty well.  He lasted about an hour before he got bored.

Eastern caribbean cruisin'

Carrie and I got a chance to go to the eastern caribbean on a carnival cruise.  We stopped off at Nassau, Bahamas, St. Thomas, and St. Maarten.  All three islands were incredible.  We played with dolphins and went to Atlantis, we snorkeled in St. Thomas, and we shopped and laid on the beach in St. Maarten.

We had a great time but we were ready to come home and see our two wonderful kids.  It only took us 6 flights to get home, but that was okay.
