It's been a while since last post

Kaetlyn was dressed for Halloween as a unicorn.  It was one of those outfits you wished she didn't pick, but that is what she wanted.  Someday, she will look back and wonder, but made it look pretty cute.
Here is the unmasked Spiderman.  The outfit was pretty cool with muscles and all.  Almost as huge has his daddy (I can write that since I'm doing the post!!)  They were a big hit at the football game strutting around with the costumes.  I think they even got some candy from the student section!!
Here they are at a friend's birthday party wrestling around which is pretty normal for any day.

Back to the sidelines of a football game.  Bobby had just been taught some wrestling moves by one of the wrestling coaches.  As you can see, he is going for the 3 point near fall.  One can only imagine what the years will bring with this information.  Kaetlyn is going to have her work cut out for her!!

No special info on this one...Just the kids looking cute in their winter pajamas.  It does get cold in AZ...50 degrees can feel kind of nippy when you have been in the 100's all summer.

Summer fun

One day we all went out and looked at model homes.  Don't get any ideas, we go out occasionally and see what is out there.  At some point, we will likely upgrade, but not now.  The kids have a blast when we go, they like to go to the rooms and pick out their "new bedrooms"  It is pretty fun for all of us

Carrie took Bobby and Kaetlyn over to the new mall where they have a little water area that they love to play in.  As you can see, Bobby is checking out how an enema feels like!!

Kaetlyn is getting a pressure washing on her face.

You gotta find the water when it is 110 degrees during the day.  We did get a storm the other night that dropped 2 inches of water at the house.  Needless to say, the pool was a little extra full in the morning.

Here is a Blackburn/Gilbert family photo taken at mom and dad's.  We thought it would be tough to get it done with Bobby, but it only took three tries.  Not bad.  We all had a great time getting together with Mike's family.  Already talking about how we all can get together for next summer.

The Blackburn's modeling photo shoot!!!

We had our professional photographer (Mike & MeKell) take some photos since we didn't have any good family photos including our little guy.

Mike and MeKell's visit

The girls have had a great time spending time with each other.  They have been doing a variety of things such as playing house, in the pool, torturing lil' Bobby, etc.
The cousins!!
Lounging at the pool.
At the park.  It is only 91 degrees... in the shade!!
Arizona's version of snow angels...in our state, we do sand angels...that's how we roll!!!

St. Maarten

Rasta Matt :D
Leaving the lights of St. Thomas
Woke up in St. Maarten... did a little shopping - but spent the day on the beach.
AAaahhh... what a view!  LOVE the beautiful water!!!
my hunk a hunk a burnin love :D   hubba hubba!  hubby! ;P

Here are a few pictures from St. Thomas.  What an amazing  view we got from the sky tram - to Paradise Point.  After we were done there we went to a bunch of the jewelry stores in Charlotte Amalie... Matt found a fabulous $261,000 ring to put on his wish list - HA ... so crazy!  Then we went snorkeling and saw sting rays, lots of sea turtles, and a lot of fish that are very used to people - and treats!  They were not shy at all!
This is the view we woke up to in docking in Nassau on Monday morning.
The view from the other side of the boat... Atlantis - where we played with dolphins and waterslides -- very fun - but too short of an excursion!  We'll have to go back! :D
Again, an amazing morning view - it cleared up and was beautiful all day.
One of the amazing views as we zipped through Atlantis... like I said... we did not have as much time as we would have liked - so outstanding!
We took a quick trip down the lazy river - a few zips down the almost vertical waterslides... and then got pushed out of the water and "driven" around the pool by a  dolphin - propelled ourselves with a little motor to swim with them, and just played with the dolphins.

Some of the great views in Miami...
The white lady was real... and startled me as  we were walking past!  Gotta love the culture - all around you!  Matt took a walk on the "wild side" and got an airbrush tatoo... maybe not a good idea - he liked it a lot.

As you can see, Matt's new life style is really paying off... for both of us :D   Great part is - he does not need the apron... or the hat! he he

Miami beach

Here is a picture on our last night in south beach before getting on our cruise.
The kids have had a good summer so far.  They enjoy spending time with each other at least for the most part.  They tend to irritate each other once in a while.  Bobby sure loves hanging out with his older sister.  He will pretty much do whatever she asks him to do.  Scary thought later on!!

Bobby is definitely the ham of the family.  He loves to get attention.  He also thinks he is pretty funny.  We went to see Wall-e as a family the other day.  We were not going to take Bobby since he doesn't sit for that well for that long, but he would get so excited whenever the previews would come on tv.  So, we all went and it went pretty well.  He lasted about an hour before he got bored.
